New accounts get free starter credits the moment you sign up — enough to try every flow before you buy.

How credits work

Each image generation costs 1–6 credits depending on size and quality. Video generation costs more per second; the exact pricing is shown in the dashboard. Failed jobs are refunded automatically.

Credit cost reference

Exact costs are surfaced live in the dashboard. The table below is the steady-state reference — admin-tunable, but it has not changed recently.

Images (per generation)

• Standard quality, 1024 px square — 1 credit
• Standard quality, 1024×1792 portrait or 1792×1024 landscape — 2 credits
• High quality, 1024 px square — 3 credits
• High quality, 1024×1792 portrait or 1792×1024 landscape — 4–6 credits

Video (per generation)

• 4-second clip — 12 credits
• 6-second clip — 18 credits
• 8-second clip — 24 credits

Each video edit deducts the same credits as the original duration. The number of edits per chain is capped (default 4).

What counts as a generation

A generation is one successful output — one image or one video clip. Failed jobs are refunded automatically; you only pay for outputs you actually receive. Re-running a prompt to get a different result is a separate generation. Video edits (extend, change a segment, swap audio) are billed as new generations at the original duration cost.

How yalmai differs from monthly subscriptions

Most AI image and video tools sell monthly subscriptions with a fixed quota that resets every month — you pay even in months you do not generate, and unused quota disappears. yalmai is pay-as-you-go: credits never expire, you pay only for what you use, and there is no recurring charge. For teams with bursty workloads this is usually cheaper, and you can stop using yalmai for a month without losing anything.

Credit packs

Several pack sizes are available, all paid securely through Stripe. Bulgarian VAT is applied per VAT Act rules; EU B2B customers with a valid VAT number are zero-rated under reverse charge.
